The second section is devoted to the individual body systems andincludes chapters dedicated to the heart and major vessels, thelungs, the mediastinum, the pleural space and the thoracicboundaries. To aid the reader with information retrieval, eachanatomical region is approached in the following way: radiographicanatomy and variations; interpretive principles; and diseases.Information on diseases is further subdivided into sectionscovering radiographic findings and the results and interpretationof other imaging studies.
