This manual enables the isolation and identification of bacteria that are found in aquatic animals, particularly fish. The emphasis is on bacteria from farmed aquatic animals, including fish,molluscs and crustacea, but some attention is also given to other marine and freshwater animals such as mammals and birds, both captive in zoos or in the wild, as well as aquarium fish.
